I’m Dimitri (Dima) Bell, an award-winning photographer based in New England. With nearly 30 years of global experience, I specialize in delivering high-end imagery for corporate events, portraits, and weddings across the Northeast.
Before relocating to the United States, where I was honored with a Fellowship at Norwich University in Vermont in 2022, I built an international journalism career contributing to leading publications including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, CBS News, Der Spiegel, Stern, Paris Match, and many others. My reporting spanned high-profile political summits and complex assignments in challenging environments, including Chechnya, Ukraine and Syria.
My corporate and editorial background includes hundreds of assignments for Bloomberg News, as well as events like the G8, G20, and World Economic Forum. I’ve also had the privilege of photographing public figures such as Tom Ford, Gwyneth Paltrow, Edward Snowden, and Jon Huntsman.
In addition to events, I offer professional portraiture both in-studio and on location, providing a seamless, guided experience for every client.
My work has earned recognition from prestigious organizations including:
Amnesty UK Media Awards (Photojournalism) - Finalist, 2019
IMAGELY Fund Grant - Winner, 2016
Pictures of the Year (POY) – Print Feature Story Magazine Editing -Winner, 2015
National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), Portraits - Winner, 2010
Overseas Press Club of America, Borovik Award - Laureate, 2005
I bring not only technical expertise but the ability to work discreetly, handle high-pressure environments, and deliver imagery that reflects the quality and professionalism of your brand.
